Michelle Moore

In her own words:

Hello, I am Michelle Moore and I'm 18 years old. I was born in Mission Viejo, California, then moved to the Santa Clarita Valley when I was two years old and have lived here ever since. I recently graduated from Canyon High School after four years. While attending Canyon, I participated in the Associated Student Body, National Art Honors Society, Varsity soccer team, and Varsity track team.

Outside of school, I like to play soccer, go to the beach, spend time with my family and of course help at events in the Santa Clarita Valley. I have been playing soccer since I was seven, and have kept the passion for the game throughout the years. I played for the Santa Clarita United Hot Tamales, So Cal United, and Real So Cal club teams. Because of my competitive spirit, passion for the game, and my athleticism, it has earned me a scholarship to go play for the Cal State University of Northridge Matadors Division 1 soccer team. While attending CSUN I will be majoring in Communications. However, after I obtain a masters degree, I want to become an Event Coordinator.

The Miss SCV Program so far, has helped me meet many new people throughout the Santa Clarita Valley by actively participating in my community. I have made new friends and have built up my self confidence, and ability to speak in front of large groups of people. I am so grateful for all that this program has taught me thus far and I would not hesitate to do it again, because it is such a great program!
